Originally published as a Bantam paperback in 1962 this was a reading version of his script, which was produced live on television in 1957. The teleplay won a Peabody Award, the first given to an individual script; helped establish Serling's reputation; and is among the first instances of Serling novelizing his scripts. The new edition includes a forward by editorial board member Mark Olshaker.
