It contained 4 scripts - "Patterns", "The Rack," "Old MacDonald Had a Curve," and "Requiem for a Heavyweight;" included the author's personal commentaries on each play; photos from TV and motion picture productions; and a dissertation by Rod entitled, "About Writing for Television." This edition includes a forward by editorial board member, Mark Dawidziak
